Per the OLLI at UNLV Educational Programming Committee Standing Rules adopted on April 21st, 2020, a syllabus is required for all OLLI classes. A syllabus is essentially a guide or "map" for your class. Whether you shape your class based on student responses as you go, or prefer to give students a week-by-week outline of material you plan to cover, a syllabus is important for communicating what you plan for your class members.
