Director’s Message

Thank you for your interest in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UNLV, an engaging and ever-growing community of retired and semi-retired adults.  For over two decades our program has offered an array of academic and cultural experiences for seasoned adults interested in continuing to grow intellectually, physically, and socially.

Each of our nearly 90 classes per semester is led by OLLI at UNLV members who bring a lifetime of personal and professional experience to their class.  There are no tests, no grades, no homework — only the joy of learning and a unique opportunity to connect with peers from Las Vegas and beyond.

Outside the classroom, OLLI at UNLV creates the opportunities for friendship, volunteerism, and community that has become vital to so many of our members.  In addition to our study groups, OLLI at UNLV provides a hiking club, day trips to such locations as the Mob Museum and Zappos, discounted tickets to UNLV events and other entertainment venues, an annual film festival, and various social events throughout the year.  Perhaps you will have an opportunity to be a part of one of our 14 committees that keep OLLI at UNLV fresh and vital.

If you haven’t had a chance to attend class, I would like to invite you to join us as a guest for two different class sessions of your choice.  Please call 702-774-OLLI (6554) to schedule your visit. Thank you again for your interest in OLLI at UNLV. I look forward to seeing you around campus.
